He came on the weekend, on time (well, ten minutes late – but even for such a small delay he called ahead and gave plenty of notice for this), was clear and professional, happy to answer questions and explained everything well. He wore shoe guards, cleaned up after himself, left everything tidy. Rather than giving a random estimate (my last plumber gave me a quote over the phone and then charged more than double that!),

he came by with zero callout fee, had a look at the issue and then gave a fair quote for everything he did and charged exactly that. Very happy and would definitively use again.

I had a toilet clog that I needed cleared, and I also wanted the toilet replaced. Commando Plumbing  arrived promptly and got right to work. Moe accommodated our shoe-free household by laying down fabric runners from the front door to the bathroom. He emptied and removed the old toilet, verified that the clog was in the toilet (not in the drain below), and installed the new toilet, all in about an hour! He verified that everything was working perfectly before we settled up. The price was exactly as he had quoted.

He even asked if I wanted to touch up the wall paint before he installed the new toilet (since the old toilet was flush against the wall, making it impossible to paint behind it). This was really considerate, and I appreciated the care he took in our home. I hope to never need to hire a plumber again… but when it inevitably happens, I’ll go with Commando again.

I have a Rheem hot water heater at home. One day it stopped working and the indicator light suggests flammable vapor sensor lockout. I called Rheem customer support to get the part number and ordered a replacement sensor. I installed the sensor but still no luck, no hot water in the house. Then I turned to Google for a good plumbing service in my area and called Commando Plumbing. They returned my call shortly after I called and gave me a price estimate. Not only that, I talked with an expert on the phone about the problem I had.

He was very knowledgeable and experienced, and very honest about what needs to be done to solve the problem. He gave me many tips how to resolve the issue over the phone, and how much it would cost him to come over and fix it for me. I have always been very curious about fixing things myself, so gave it another try based on his tips. And it worked!!! This is by far the most honest and helpful plumbing company. Next time I have something broken in the house, I would definitely hire Commando to do the job for me.

I agree with the rest of the reviews. Commando Plumbing is great! Honest, fast, won’t rip you off (did I mention honest?), and is available for same day fixes. I originally called for a quote for a busted garbage disposal and clogged drain – he came out to look at it the same day, and what he quoted was so reasonable I didn’t even bother to clear it with my landlord. He was able to fix it then and there – in all of 15 minutes (maybe less) the problem was solved. Oh, and he takes credit cards. Will absolutely call Commando first when my next plumbing emergency strikes. Thanks Moe!
